Even in a SELECT CASE statement, you're going to have to set a = "green"
and z = z + 1 the same way you would have on an IF statement.  Like Josh
said, if his sample for an IF statement didn't work, the problem's somewhere
else.

That's about as simple a statement as you'll ever see.
