Thank you Michael and Scott. I think I have a direction to go in now. I found after trying to copy the runtime files to the production server, that it already had the files, but they had different dates. I then tried to reinstall the com object and got an error indicating that the resource file did not match. So I'm guessing that the production server never got the VFP service pack and the files need to be replaced. I will try that later today. Thanks again for the kickstart!
