I am writing a web page that will update LDAP attributes and lookup LDAP attributes with ADSI and ASP. I would like to search for a full name or part of the full name or sn and/or givenName and then from that get the CN or if you are looking at the Exchange Admin it is the "Directory Name". Has anyone done this or know how to do this? I see some stuff that can be done in VB using Com.ActiveConnection and/or ADsDSOObject but if this is the way to do it in ASP I dont know how to do it. Thanks for any help you can offer.
