I did manage to come up with a solution. In the IIS, the virtual directory I created is called SexOffender. I right clicked the directory, and chose properties. Under the Directoy Security tab I clicked Edit.. on Anonymous access and authentication control. I then unchecked Anonymous access. When I went back into the file I posted, I ran it, and it connected to the database. Why is did this work, and is this a feasible solution?
Why was it using IUSR_STEPHAN for the database authentication even though I passed a connection string? I do have "Allow SQL Server Logins and Windows" checked under Server Properties, that was setup correctly when I installed sql server. I am currently creating a database for Bryan County Sheriff's Department in Oklahoma for all the registered sex offenders. --- You are currently subscribed to activeserverpages as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
