mmm i still don't want to burn my fingers in that discussion. open source software is great and i can only be in favor... but what about the freedom of choice...
btw... i once downloaded redhat linux 6.0 from their ftp-server for free... Yet i can't find it no more. has redhat gone the same way as M$, trying to make a profit from their product... If so, isn't the desire to make a profit going to cross with the ideals of free open source software (which is against multinational domination)? regards remie bolte ----- Original Message ----- From: "15Seconds Editor" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "ActiveServerPages" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, October 17, 2002 5:41 PM Subject: For Your Reading Enjoyment > Someone in Israel's government wants to make gov't agencies open source > only hoping to get the rest of the country to shift: > > http://linuxtoday.com/news_story.php3?ltsn=2002-10-17-013-26-NW-LL-PB > > --- > You are currently subscribed to activeserverpages as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To unsubscribe send a blank email to %%email.unsub%% > --- You are currently subscribed to activeserverpages as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
