Our company does this. It takes 20 minutes to do (depending on speed of machine). Assuming you have high speed internet access and a firewall already configured then that does not need done. If not and you need this done as well it depends on the type of router/firewall you are using. Some are easier and faster than others. But allow a half hour for that but up to 2 hours.
Securing the server takes an undetermined period of time depending on the amount of updates you have and the speed of the internet connection you have access to. We bring most of everything on disk. But these updates can take 30 minutes to 3 hours tops. Our company charges $90 an hour for this but some of our competitors charge as much as 250 an hour. If you choose to do this your self and have never done so I would add a day of research and reading. Then add 50% to the time estimates if you are not familure with the tools. If you are starting from a new server installation add a couple of hours to complete all the downloads you need. If you are going to be administering the server I suggest doing this yourself.
