Tena koe Carina I'm very very keen to find out what is happening in the way of professional development for academics on educating for sustainability. This polytechnic decided late last year that sustainability principles and practices would be integrated into all educational delivery, all courses, by 2011. I have just begun working with our Staff Development team on how to train the tutorial staff, how to provide guidance and support to course developers, and how to evaluate tutor and course developer performance and compliance. I hadn't found any precedents, any documented courses or experiences to guide us. ANY information would be appreciated
As for your request, do you have specific issues on which you would like comment? I have only managed to find one course, which is disappointing given expectation to mainstream sustainability across the curriculum. Does anybody know of any courses that I've missed? Or does anybody have any insight into the topic. I'm not so much interested in courses that are aimed at curriculum change, rather I am looking for courses which are just simply engaging teaching academics with the topic. Cheers, Carina Wyborn _______________________________________________ ACTS_Forum mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.anu.edu.au/mailman/listinfo/acts_forum _______________________________________________ ACTS_Forum mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.anu.edu.au/mailman/listinfo/acts_forum
