I'm doing a presentation to management here at Monash and would love to
give them some examples of the great work that is taking place at other
universities. Therefore I'm doing a quick poll and I'd really appreciate
your response as to whether you are currently looking into:
1. assessing carbon 'footprint' of the university and how far along the
track you are for this - ie.(A) do you know your footprint, (B) are you
currently calculating it, (C) are you currently thinking about
calculating it?
2. carbon neutrality and the time frame for this. What year do you aim
to be carbon neutral by?
What is the approximate percentage of renewable energy that you already
create/purchase.
Also, if you are looking into the carbon neutrality, I'm interested to
know what level of management is driving this and how it is being
embedded in your organisation.
