Hi Daphne,

Old Dominion University does not have a specific policy from the human subjects 
perspective. The Institutional Review Board looks at each study individually to 
determine if compensation is warranted and appropriate.

Researchers do need to account for the compensation on funded projects and 
typically need to provide some sort of listing to our Research Foundation; 
however, this is governed by funding agency rules or IRS regulations. A 
specific local policy isn't used.
