Lynda:

Here at Ohio State, given a history of decentralized policy management, we have
an "alcohol and other drugs" policy, a "procedure for requesting permission to
serve alcohol," a "drug free workplace" policy, and the "expenditures" policy.
I've included the links below...hopefully one will be helpful to you.

Alcohol and Other Drugs policy (applicable to pretty much everyone)

Drug-Free workplace policy (applicable to all employees)

Expenditures policy (alcohol is addressed throughout the document - search for
it using "alcohol")

Subject: [acupa-l] Policy on Students/Faculty/Staff use of alcohol

Hello,

I am looking for examples of policies that address student use of alcohol from
a student conduct perspective; however, the policy would also reference
faculty/staff guidelines regarding use of alcohol while acting in a student
advisory capacity. I realize there is some overlap here in terms of HR policy.

Although we don't have student housing, I'm sure I can glean useful tips from
this group. Please share anything you think will be beneficial as we build our
policy on this topic.

Thanks so much!

To those of you in the path of the storms over the next few days, please be
safe. Many in Arkansas are suffering today, while others acknowledge gratitude
for being safe from the path of storm.
