You have my condolences, Heather. (pause) At Indiana University we don't have
a formal policy about reconciliation, per se, as that is considered more of a
procedure and duty that is performed. However, "reconciliation" is embedded in
some policies, for example:

1. Go here:
http://policies.iu.edu/policies/categories/financial/accounting-administration/FIN-ACC-I-560-custodial-funds.shtml
, in the "Policy Statement" section, fourth bolded item.

2. Go here:
http://policies.iu.edu/policies/categories/financial/accounting-administration/FIN-ACC-I-1-role-of-fiscal-officer-account-manager-and-account-supervisor.shtml
, in the "Procedures" section, seventh bolded item.

Hope this helps.

Best,
T. Michael Ford

Subject: [acupa-l] Account Reconciliation Policy - PeopleSoft

Hello,

Today we officially entered the world of PeopleSoft. Does anyone using
PeopleSoft have financial policies related to account reconciliation?

Thank you,
Heather
