I work in healthcare. We ask authors to identify their communication plan for
new and revised policies. We have no minimum standards, because the amount &
type of education required is based on the content of the policy and the
changes that were made.

Subject: [acupa-l] Policy communication plans

Good morning,

I am on a committee that is reviewing university policy development and
communication, and I recently joined ACUPA. The committee is considering
requiring policy owners to identify a communication plan as part of the draft
of a new policy. Does anyone have experience with something like that? If so,
are there any minimum standards that you impose, or maybe options you utilize?

Thank you,
Ellen
