Hello everyone, I am very excited about something we are trying out at NWACC. Below you will find text from a message that went out this morning to College employees regarding a new policy proposal. My excitement is about the added informal video component! Kudos to our Director of Admissions and Advising for going first in the endeavor to facilitate conversations and information around policy development.

In the spirit of greater communication and shared governance, the NWACC Policy Office has adopted the practice of providing a brief introductory video with each new or revised policy survey. The purpose of the video is two-fold: 1) Introduces College employees to a member(s) of the department responsible for the policy; 2) Gives an overview of the purpose of and need for the policy. Prior to taking the policy survey, we hope that you will take a moment to view the video (1 -2 minutes), read the policy and review any supporting procedures included.
