We are in the process of adding anti-cyberbullying language to our Acceptable Use Policy but it only specifies the use of university IT resources for such behavior.
Title IX training at our campus has emphasized that Title IX can apply in virtual situations and that students can file a complaint through that route. - David David Stack, PhD COO and Deputy CIO, University IT Services University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee [email protected] 414-229-5371 ________________________________________ From: [email protected] <[email protected]> on behalf of Toglia, Thomas <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, December 17, 2014 12:31 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [acupa-l] Off-Campus Cyber Speech I am interested in hearing if anyone has a policy that addresses off-campus cyber speech that may be considered as sexual harassment, bullying, or otherwise threatening. For example, does anyone have a policy that ties improper Facebook postings made from off-campus computers to a Code of Student Conduct. Thank you in advance. Thomas V. Toglia, Ed.D.
