Thanks, Rebecca. From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Rebecca G. Deardorff Sent: Thursday, January 15, 2015 11:47 AM To: 'Association of College and University Policy Administrators' Subject: RE:[acupa-l] University Mission Statement Policy
Hello Anita, The University of Washington does have within our Board of Regents Governance resource, Regent Policy No. 5<http://www.washington.edu/admin/rules/policies/BRG/RP5.html> "Role and Mission of the University," as well as a Values & Vision statement<http://www.washington.edu/about/visionvalues/> which is maintained outside the policy materials. Although the policy received a bit of housekeeping in 2013, it remains mostly forgotten except during periodic accreditation. Hope that your 2015 began well. Our institution has a mission statement, but do we have a mission statement policy? This question was raised with me recently and I thought I'd pose it to the ACUPA membership: does your institution have a mission statement policy that you can share?
