Hi, Have any of your institutions created guidelines (including parental authorization forms) for your faculty and research assistants who use children as research subjects? I'm looking for more than confidentiality and consent issues. But protocol for allowing a researcher to be alone in a room with a child. I'm looking also for similar protocol that could be used in our speech clinic that where clinicians are alone in a testing room with a child. The federal ethical research guidelines are pretty vague.
