Hi Amanda,

We use memorandums at our college instead of "contracts". HR is responsible
for all employment practice policy. All policy for our institution follows the
same process which can be explored at:

Hope this helps.

Subject: [acupa-l] Faculty Personnel Contracts/Policy Approval Process

Good Morning-

Hope that everyone had a great weekend. I have been tasked to do research on
the following questions:

1. Who is responsible for Faculty personnel contracts at your school? Are
they covered in the general campus policy manual and what is the approval
process?

2. When a policy draft is proposed, what are the determining factors that
generate a formal policy approval process? Are there parameters that allow for
proposals to be rejected?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you-
