Shannon:

Ohio State doesn’t have such a policy, but our Director of Risk Management and
Insurance below describes an informal process we use now.

If you get any policies, I’d appreciate it if you would share them with me. It
looks like Risk Management may consider developing a more formal governing
document…

Thanks! -Eunice

Good question. Not a specific policy but we have been running requests through
Student Life, Emergency Management and Risk for concurrence before allowing. We
also try to identify a “sponsor” of the activity so that we know who to charge
should something go awry.

This might be a nice project for Dave Smith to start working on.

Talk soon and stay cool, dh

Doug:

Do we have any guidance document on this? Is it included any way in our
insurance policy…I seem to have a recollection of it from the old risk
management committee under Bill Shkurti?

Hello all,

Do any of you have a policy on Parkour and Free Running? If so, can you provide
me with some background and information related to your process in creating the
policy?

Thanks.

Shannon
