Christine-

At IU, my understanding is that at the university level we defer to CDC or
state board of health guidance/requirements for possible quarantine as they
occur. Here are a couple of info pages from throughout the Ebola crisis in West
Africa. The first one is from our university-wide public safety website. The
medical school may have more detailed policies, but I don't have access to
those.

Good luck,

Subject: [acupa-l] Quarantine after foreign travel?

Hello, everyone.

We are working on our foreign travel policy to cover those who want to go to
restricted countries for various reasons (to provide healthcare, etc.).

Do any of you with health care facilities require a health screening or
possible quarantine when someone returns from a country with a known contagious
disease outbreak, whether restricted or not?

Thanks if anyone has an example.

Christine
