Austin,

Greetings from Chicago!

While we don't have a specific university policy, our Dean of Students office
provides faculty members with this guide:

http://offices.depaul.edu/student-affairs/about/for-faculty-staff/Documents/Faculty_Resource_Guide.PDF

You'll find some content about classroom disruptions around page 17,

Hope this helps.

-Todd

Subject: [acupa-l] Classroom Disruption Policy

Do any of your institutions have a university policy regarding "Handling
Classroom Disruptions?"

What I'm looking for is something that states what faculty are allowed to do in
response to violence, threats of violence, or other non-violent disruptions
caused by students in the classroom.

If you have some other guidance and/or policy that doesn't arise to the level
of university policy, I would still appreciate any example you would be able to
provide me. Thank you very much,
