Hi,

Our whistle-blower policies are separated into our Internal Audit operation,
which reports directly to the Board of Trustees and therefore bypasses all
campus reporting and leadership. The Board felt it should stand alone. The
page describing the policy is posted here:

Reporting Fraud or Misappropriation
I. Reporting Fraud

All university community members are encouraged to report possible fraudulent
or related misconduct. Any individual suspected of fraud or related misconduct
should not be confronted. Employees should report their concern(s) through
normal management reporting channels, beginning with their immediate
supervisor. Upon notification of the suspected fraud or misconduct, the
supervisor is required to report the instance to the Internal Audit Department
(IAD). An employee can report their concerns directly to the Internal Audit
Department if they find it difficult to discuss/report with their supervisor or
the suspected fraud involves the supervisor.

Good Morning,
I posted this is the new forums, but I’m not entirely sure of how the forums
work yet because I thought I subscribed to them, but when I posted this there I
realized there were some posts there and I hadn’t received any emails about
them, so maybe other members are not aware there are some members looking for
advice in the forums either. If you have a chance – go online and look at the
forums because members have posted in the Policy Process and Policy Subject
Matters forum.

My topic: Whistle Blower policies
I know it was posted before , but with the new forums, I couldn’t find the old
thread. So if anyone could share with me their Whistle Blower policies I would
appreciate it.

Thanks,
Rachel
