Good morning Heather,

Though we don't allow "concealed handguns" on the Indiana University campuses
(and there is a national student organization that has a local presence here
called, Students for Concealed Carry on Campus, that is trying to change that
policy position), there are two relevant policies that address the topic of
"firearms":

1. Possession of Firearms and Weapons:
http://policies.iu.edu/policies/categories/administration-operations/public-safety-institutional-assurance/PS-03.shtml

2.     IUPD Firearms:
http://policies.iu.edu/policies/categories/administration-operations/public-safety-institutional-assurance/PS-PD-10-02.shtml
 (which is specific to campus police personnel)

Best,

Subject: [acupa-l] Campus Carry - allowing concealed handguns on campus

Good morning,

I'm at the beginning stages of drafting our campus carry policy. Does anyone
have a policy already in place, or advice to share?

Many thanks in advance,
Heather
