Just a reminder that we are still accepting nominations through Friday, April 
15, for the six positions on the Board whose terms expire on June 30.

NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR ACUPA BOARD OF DIRECTORS

It's that time of year to seek nominations to fill six positions on ACUPA's 
Board of Directors whose terms will expire on June 30, 2016.  The Directors who 
are concluding their two-year terms are five of ACUPA's founding Board members 
- Joshua Adams, T. Michael Ford, Heather Foster, Michele Gross and Donna Meeks, 
as well as Jessica Teets who filled Candice Fischbach's unexpired term.  
Rebecca Deardorff, Lynda Lloyd, Peter Newman, Bob Schur, and Amy Smith were 
elected to the Board last year and still have one year remaining on their 
terms. Nominations for these six open positions will be accepted from March 15 
through April 15, 2016.

In accordance with our Bylaws, all Directors will serve two-year terms, and the 
term of office will run from July 1 of the first year to June 30 of the second 
year.  Although there is no limit to total number of terms served by any 
Director, Directors may serve for a maximum of three [3] consecutive terms.  
Directors are expected to participate in monthly Board meetings and attend one 
in-person meeting per year.

All members in good standing are eligible to nominate candidates; however, only 
members with voting rights (Higher Education, Other Education, Governmental) 
are eligible for nomination. Eligible members may also self-nominate and 
multiple nominations are allowed.
