Hi Meredith,
I would say that at the end of the day that the disciplinary action could be
the same for faculty and staff ("You're terminated!") but at Indiana University
the policies are subdivided amongst various classifications of employees of the
university. I'll provide a few for you to view for starters:
1. For faculty:
http://policies.iu.edu/policies/categories/academic-faculty-students/conditions-academic-employment/Code-of-Academic-Ethics.shtml
2. For staff not covered by a Union:
http://policies.iu.edu/policies/categories/human-resources/development/corrective_action_staff.shtml
3. For temporary employees:
http://policies.iu.edu/policies/categories/human-resources/development/corrective_action_temp.shtml
4. For service staff (AFSCME Service):
http://policies.iu.edu/policies/categories/human-resources/development/corrective_action_AFSCME.shtml
5. For support staff (CWA, Local 4730):
http://policies.iu.edu/policies/categories/human-resources/development/corrective_action_cwa.shtml
6. For police staff (AFSCME Police, Local 683):
http://policies.iu.edu/policies/categories/human-resources/development/corrective_action_AFSCMEpolice.shtml
Hope that helps, let me know if you have any questions.
Best,
T. Michael Ford

Good afternoon!
Does anyone have a disciplinary action policy that applies equally to faculty
and staff?
I appreciate any and all assistance!
