Our core accounts have a life that is governed by the contracts to which those accounts have access. For the common NetID, the account provides access to a wide variety of library resources as well as email, campus software licenses such as SPSS, and other materials. We found it difficult to maintain a variety of account end dates. All the resources that can be accessed with the account have been set in the contracts to allow one year access from termination.
