Thanks, Bonnie!

I accepted a position as assistant to Dr. Robin Bowen, President at Arkansas
Tech University, about 2 hours south of my current home. I imagine I will be
working "indirectly" with policy, but this is a totally different gig for me!
I will miss the best boss in the world (you all will hopefully get to Ethan
Beckcom a bit more through ACUPA - I hope I get points since he will read this
as a member :-)) but I will be closer to grandchildren and am looking forward
to seeing the goings on of a university from this birds eye view.

NWACC will continue to be to be involved in ACUPA - what a terrific resource!

Look for our position announcement as soon as Ethan has it ready to launch.
Northwest Arkansas is a great place to live - if you don't believe it, look for
Bentonville and Fayetteville, Arkansas as 1 of the 10 best places to live in
the USA. http://realestate.usnews.com/places/arkansas/fayetteville

Thanks to everyone for all your assistance with policy, as well as your
professional friendship to me over the last 5 years. I will be thinking about
you all in June when you are enjoying a FAB conference in Minneapolis!!

Congratulations, Linda! Will you still be involved in policy work? Here is a
link to my position description as a "University Policy Specialist," if it is
helpful:

Hello ACUPA friends,

NWACC will soon have a position available in the Office of Policy, Risk
Management and Compliance. I have accepted a position at Arkansas Tech
University in the Office of the President. However, do to the diverse and
unique nature of my work, it is most likely that the Director position I hold
will be divided into two separate coordinator positions. I know this topic has
come up a few times in the past, but I am seeking examples of job position
descriptions for policy administrators; specifically those whose role is
singular to policy work only at a coordinator level.

Thanks in advance if you have, and are willing to share, a job description that
matches our need.
