Hello Megan,

The University of Washington has two relevant items (one Washington
Administrative Code chapter and the other an Administrative Policy Statement):

· Chapter 478-128
WAC<http://www.washington.edu/admin/rules/policies/WAC/478-128TOC.html>, Animal
Control at the University of Washington-This deals with the broader context of
various categories of animals on university grounds.

· Administrative Policy Statement,
46.6<http://www.washington.edu/admin/rules/policies/APS/46.06.html>, Service
Animal Policy-This is more specific and has links to the various offices that
oversee this issue on our three campuses.

Both provide some nuance in the definitions they supply.

All the best,

Rebecca

Subject: [acupa-l] Service Animals/ESA/Pets

Hello ACUPA members,

University of Louisiana at Lafayette is considering a policy or policies on
service animals, emotional support animals, and pets. Does your institution
have a policy on any of these? Are they all in one policy or separate? Which
department is responsible for each policy? If you are willing to share copies
of your policies, please pass it along.

Thank you!
Megan
