Greetings policy colleagues, I'm pleased to announce, on behalf of the ACUPA 2017 Events Planning Committee, that the early bird registration date has been extended to April 7th! That means that you still have time to take advantage of the discounted registration rate. Your institution can save $50 if you complete your registration and payment before the end of day on 4/7/17.
When you register, here are some tips to aid in your success. - There are two tabs on the registration form. Once you've complete the Attendees Info, please select the second tab: Attendee Selections. - On the Attendee Selections page, you may specify whether or not you're attending the Pre-conference Workshop and if there is anyone joining you at Crave (restaurant at the Mall of America where the networking event will be held.) - The subsequent invoice should align with the options you've chosen. - You have three options to pay for your registration: PayPal, credit card, or check. Please note that if paying by check, you'll need to register quickly so that the check is received by the Treasurer. *CONFERENCE DATES* The conference dates are June 21-June 23, with the last day ending around 12:00. We're hoping that the great line-up of presenters and speakers are calling you to come to Minnesota! The chance to interact with other policy professionals is a golden opportunity that should not be missed! For more details on the conference, please check out the conference brochure. <http://c.ymcdn.com/sites/acupa.site-ym.com/resource/resmgr/docs/ACUPA_2017/ACUPA_Conference_Registratio.pdf> <http://c.ymcdn.com/sites/acupa.site-ym.com/resource/resmgr/docs/ACUPA_2017/ACUPA_Conference_Registratio.pdf> *LODGING* On a related note, there are just a few rooms still available at the conference hotel (Radisson Blue). If location is a big consideration for you, you may want to jump in and register now and contact the hotel. We're told that there may be more rooms beyond the block that we reserved, but if so, the price may be higher than what has been negotiated. If you do register and the hotel is booked, here are a few more options for you to pursue: - Crown Plaza Northstar Minneapolis Downtown ($169/night) - Radisson Red Minneapolis Downtown ($170/night) - Embassy Suites by Minneapolis Downtown Hotel ($179/night) - Residence Inn Minneapolis Downtown/City Center ($233/night) - Minneapolis Marriot City Center ($281/night) - The Marquette Hotel ($299/night) Peter Newman ([email protected]) and I would be happy to answer any questions you might have! Thanks and happy Thursday! -- Michele Gross, Director Policy Program University of Minnesota 356-1 McNamara, 200 Oak street Minneapolis, MN 55454 612-624-8081 http://policy.umn.edu/
