Hello Jennifer,

At the University of New Mexico, we started a process a few years ago of
scanning and uploading pdf documents of our historical policies to our
Library's digital archives system - in the spirit of transparency and "sunshine
portal." Toward the end of the project, we realized that maintaining the
archive as it changed was more than our small office could handle. We do
maintain internal hard copy archives, and now digital pdf archives on our
office shared drive, stamped and named by effective dates, and can provide them
upon request. Like many others, most of our (few and far between) requests come
from University Counsel.

Sincerely,
Bonnie Leigh

Hello, ACUPA friends! Per the subject line, we are at a place where we are
trying to decide if previous versions of a policy (or “archives”) should be
published on our public-facing policy library. We recently purchased new
software to house and manage our library and before we go live with the new
site, I’m wondering how to handle all of our previous policy versions. What is
your practice?

Thanks for any advice you can provide!

Sincerely,
Jennifer McCormick
