You should be able to move the database to the new location using SQL 
management tools (depending on your version of SQL). SCOM should be pointed to 
the SQL instance that it is using and not care about where that instance 
resides on disk.

You probably have SQL or MSDE installed as well.....  You'll have to change the 
"move" the file within sql in order to continue having access to it....
