Hi,

I am going to be implementing printer deployment via group policy using the
2003 R2 addition of Printer Management which allows deployment via a GPO. I
have set it up and tested it and it works fabulous but after googling around I
have a couple of questions that I am unsure about.

1) Is there a way that you can make it set the deployed printer as the
default printer on the system? I have not seen anything that obviously
pertains to that.

2) Is there a way that prior to deploying the printers in the GPO it can
remove any pre-existing mapped network printers (so that the only printers that
end up on the system when the user logs in are the ones specifically defined in
the GPO)?

If anyone has experience with this I'd love to hear.

Also if anyone is unfamiliar with this and would like to know how to do it I
have written up a detailed white paper on it I can send you if it would be of
use to you.

Thanks in advance!
