I haven't tried disabling interactive services detection. I may give it
a try.

Anything in the logs? I've seen things like this when pushing Group Policy
Printers, but that was waiting for user intervention for a printer driver.

Just a guess - have you tried disabling interactive services detection on
the target machines?

It only says, "Please Wait". I can see hard drive activity, but no other

My XP clients display, "Deploying managed software xxxxxx".

I meant Windows 2008 R2 server for the client sessions (XenApp) - it's
still a 2003 domain

Don,

It's takes about one to one and half hours. Then, I have to reboot, and
it takes another 30 to 45 mins, then it's complete.
For my XP clients, it takes about 15 mins., for the same software.

I'm pushing, Office 2007, Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash v10, IE 7 settings,
Java v6.xx, etc. A few times on my WinXP clients, it would hang on the
Adobe Flash push, but the slowness for the Win7 clients is on every one.
I just finished deploying 100 laptops and it did it on each one.

We haven’t had any issues in our 2k3 domain with W7 clients. When you say
“long time”, how much longer is this taking as opposed to clients with
other client operating systems?

Troy,
What version of 7 are you running?

Here's the issue: When I push software, through AD, out to my Windows 7
clients, it takes a long time for those clients to finish the
push/install. With Windows 7, I can't see the process. It just displays
"Please Wait" when installing software from the push.

Wanted to know if others of you experienced the above, in a similar
environment.

thx,
Troy
