Rate : 45$/hr C2C all inclusive *Position:*Senior Java/J2ee developer *Location:*Bay Area, CA *Duration:*3-6 months *Requirement* * * * * *(mid to senior engineers with 5 to 10 years experience)* We are looking for bright engineers from varied backgrounds including UI, Server Architecture, and Infrastructure Architecture!! *The Software Engineer's responsibilities will include excellent analysis, deep problem-solving capabilities, strong initiative & communication skills, coding, testing, and release management. * *Responsibilities:* Continuing Product Development of the SaaS modules – communicate with Customer Support & Professional Services to reproduce, understand & * troubleshoot* complex & escalated product defects, determine & document root cause for these defects, communicate & interact with core engineering team members to code and review a fix for these defects, release patch to Production Operations, *react strongly, surely & quickly to product field escalations in a time-critical manner*. - Provide & communicate updates on issues to Engineering Manager, Project Managers & other stakeholders on a *continual* basis. - Develop detailed Unit Tests for coded solutions - Develop Test Plans with QA wherever required. - Update Defect Tracking systems with latest progress on these issues. - Help provide critical feedback of technical deficiencies to core-engineering team to improve product quality. - Help keep up with Escalation SLA's - *Experience**:* - 5-10 years of experience in software development, engineering, or related field - In-depth knowledge of Solaris, Windows, JVM, web and application servers (JBoss preferred) - *Expert* *knowledge of Java, J2EE (EJB, Servlets, JSP, XML, JDBC, JMS)* - Strong knowledge of Design Patterns - Strong knowledge of HTTP, TCP/IP, network trouble-shooting tools (wireshark, etc) - Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax - Experience with JVM performance tuning, caching, clustering and related concepts is preferred - Experience with JSF, Seam and/or Hibernate would be a bonus - *Nice to haves* – Adobe Flex/Flash, Java IDE's (Eclipse , Borland, IBM), Subversion, *Skills:* - (*MUST HAVE*) - Deep Analytical & troubleshooting skills - Ability to work independently and with teams (local & remote) - Strong focus on timeliness, progress and ability to generate results - Self-disciplined with strong attention to detail - (*MUST HAVE*) - Proven ability to quickly understand and solve unique and undocumented programming problems - Exceptional time management and organization - *(MUST HAVE)* - *Excellent English written and oral communication skills* - *(MUST HAVE) - Great initiative, Energetic and self-starting** * - Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
