This position is for a conversion task on expanding a key attribute field in the credit system and requires strong batch and online analysis and programming skills. Additional responsibilities include development, testing, system testing and MVS JCL modifications. Detailed design validation and working closely with development, testing and architecture to ensure proper interpretation of all system and functional designs. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required along with a strong technical aptitude. (More Details attached). * *Responsibilities: * T*his is a technical position and involves working with MVS, CICS, JCL, COBOL and VSAM based Credit System. This position involves – - designing, developing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and testing COBOL, JCL, Command-level COBOL code and applications on a MVS platform - working with project management personnel in managing the day-to-day development activities associated with the CAS credit assessment application - having knowledge of client-server systems This is a highly technical role that requires an individual who has the ability to think critically and logically, a self-starter who can self- motivate and self-instruct with a minimum of direct oversight as a member of a distributed workgroup. The individual will be involved in projects from their inception and will be responsible for Unit Testing, occasional QA, Production and Post-Production phases.
