Revisiting childhood experiences of fictionalised warfare, The Fuck Chairs' installation is a military fortress fabricated from recycled domestic artifacts and handmade weapons - its violence and play synthesized and portrayed as the primitive renderings of a generation of unconscientious objectors. Michael Morley is an artist based in Port Chalmers, Dunedin. He has exhibited at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery, 64zero3, Christchurch City Art Gallery, Gertrude, Enjoy, Artspace and The Physics Room. He is also member of The Dead C, and lectures in Fine Arts at Otago Polytechnic School of Art.
