{via LETTING SPACE}
We are thrilled to welcome artist and critical engineer Julian Oliver back
to Aotearoa New Zealand and host his first local project in many years.
Julian has been a leading techno-political artist based most recently in
Berlin. He has exhibited widely in digital media events and was Golden Nica
award winner at Prix Ars Electronica (2011).
In Electromagnetic Geographies, Julian offers you a chance for a workshop
followed by an exhibition in an inner-city space (thanks Urban Dream
Brokerage <http://urbandreambrokerage.org.nz>), utilising the diverse
electronic networks traversing through the city to create a wider awareness
of the spectral infrastructures being used to study us, and how this domain
can be employed as a material in creative and critical practices.
The workshop will run Monday - Friday 10-4pm, 10-14 May 2021 in an inner
city Wellington location TBC
To join the workshop, please assure us that you can attend for the five
days, state your reasons for interest in attending and email us at
[email protected].
