Conservation Officer - Biodiversity 12 Month Fixed Term Contract 35 hours per week £19,912 per annum To provide support for the Sussex Biodiversity Partnership and to co-ordinate the development and implementation of the Biodiversity Action Plan for Sussex. Relevant experience in ecology and nature conservation is essential along with an understanding of biodiversity action planning. Good IT skills are required including a working knowledge of GIS. Conservation Assistant Permanent Contract 28 hours per week £17,292 per annum (pro rata) To provide administrative and organisational support to the Conservation and Reserves teams. Applicants must have excellent IT skills, including knowledge of setting up and maintaining recording and filing systems. An interest in wildlife conservation issues would be beneficial. Both positions require good verbal and written communication skills and a self disciplined and organised approach to work.
