I'm not following incubator-general closely, does it sound like they're going to establish a separate Maven repository for incubator artifacts?
looks like people.apache.org/repo/m1-incubating-repository people.apache.org/repo/m2-incubating-repository makes it for "releases". and... no special incubator-snapshot; that will be mixed with the regular snapshots -Matthias
