Hmm I don't know. I would have liked to see it hosted as a new Trinidad project, a bit like trinidad-demo so that Trinidad users can find everything they need at one place.
If the skin feature ever become independent and used by Tobago and Tomahawk for example, it would make much sense that they host their skin as well rather than forcing users to look on Google for Trinidad skins, Yahoo groups for Tomahawk skins and so on imho.
