Defining icons (used by the IconRenderer) in CSS does not get picked up

I have an icon called 'AFBetweenSeparatorIcon' and I want to define this is
CSS, with a text content. The icon never gets picked up. Instead when defined
in the Java Skin file, the icons are created correctly. It appears that the
parser (SkinStyleSheetParserUtils.java) does not register the icons that end
with the word 'Icon', when defined in the CSS. icon:alias works ok.
