According to the documentation, you actually have a choice. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc770424.aspx If you check the "Direct member only" box, the GPO will only apply to objects in the OU and not in sub-OUs. If you leave the box unchecked, the GPO will apply to objects in sub-OUs, too. If you are not checking "Direct member only", then why are you using Item-Level Targeting at all? Just link the GPO to the OU and it will apply to all sub-OUs automatically. William
