I didn't see anyone else post this yet, so I thought I would.

In their December 13, 2002 issue, Computer Dealer News did a Top 25
Newsmakers of 2002. Number 8 of the smaller top 10 will be very familiar
to us: Evan Leibovitch

Evan Leibovitch, President and chairman of the Linux Professional
    Institute

12/17/2002 1:55:52 PM - Linux became more accepted as a corporate
computing platform in 2002 and as a result more people started to get
involved in developing Linux-based solutions. Getting these Linux
professionals certified in the new IT Wild West was a big challenge
    for LPI president.

To see other related articles by various magazines part of the
ITBusiness.ca family, put "Leibovitch" into the search engine on the site
and you will see 19 articles (7 from 2002) that look like a little history
lesson on Linux in Canada since 1998.

Seasons Greetings to all, and hoping that next year will be even greater
for our community than the last.
