Penso que encara que aquesta patent no sigui legalment efectiva en
territori europeu, ens afectar� d'alguna manera. Pensem que ara al menys
dues de les distribucions de Linux m�s importants (Suse i RedHat) s'estan
portant des dels USA, i per tant Microsoft els pot perseguir judicialment
all�. Tamb� pot atacar als fabricants de maquinari que vulguin incorporar
programari lliure als seus dispositius demanant que es vetin els seus
productes als USA per infringir tal o qual patent, o provar que els
tribunals ianquis dictin una sent�ncia amb efectes extraterritorials (no
seria la primera vegada).
Est� a punt d'esclatar la guerra?
