I agree ..it is easy to reach the limits of one's horse power. I find myself using certain transitions that are not system hogs. Although many of the effects are cheesey and over the top Video fx by canopus is reasonable in price and seems to lend itself better to real time preview than the ones bundled with 6.5 IMHO Ps if you felt the need to make a transition by hitting someone with a hammer or shooting them..video fx is the package to get
