As Frank said, encode your project. Be sure you have the latest encoder
from Main Concept (version 1.3) You can find the free download on
Adobe's site. Uninstall the previous version before loading the
upgrade. I have found that Sonic's MyDVD is ultra user friendly. They
have a free version that usually comes bundled with other software such
as AP.

I'm not sure about 6.5 exporting to DVD, but you can just check your
export options from the program. File>export>movie. See what it says
there. Adobe Encore is good, but has a steep learning curve. I recently
used Roxio's DVD builder and find it to be very simple to use, and it
transcodes from avi to mpg in one step.. I think mpg1 is for vcd's
(video cd's), but mpg2 is the most common format for dvd's.
Honestly though, I'm not that 'on top' of the whole dvd authoring thing.
Hopefully someone can give you better information. I'm still learning
all that stuff myself. It gets very complicated..

Thank you for your reply.
I Am Currently working with AP v 6.5 could you do export it as a DVD
with this Version as well?. my dvd player is those ones that play avi
files but only with certain encoders -so it shouls work {maybe I'm
doind something wrong with encoding?} Do you know of any good
programs that convert to Mpg2/Mpg1 format? .
