No. film as in a photosensitive emulsion on a thin plastic base. Film as in 
silver halide and color couplers and dyes instead of magnetic media on a thin 
film substrate called 'tape'.

Just how high speed are you after? You want a slow motion camera where your 
frame rate is 48 ftps but you play back at 24? Or even higher ratios?
