XP Pro, also known as Windows NT 5, build 2600, is especially well suited to
networking environments.
If you do any network file sharing between multiple machines in a network
environment you're better off with XP Pro. I have two edit systems and
several other machines that serve as file storage.
I'll probably end up adding a few more systems and building a "render farm"
eventually.
