Dear Demetrios, Normally I do not answer to any comments that are OT on discussion lists but as I like this list very much I do this time... a) discussionlists should be for the relevant topic ONLY or they miss their point b) what and what is not important in life is dependent on everybody's personal value and moral system and therefore we could end up discussing zillion different things c) Adobe is an international list and if we start discussing national political issues we will be drifting of to other islands... I am a member of a couple of discussion lists and have seen over the years the advantages of disadvantages of different lists. I for my part find the ones where discussions like this one are taking place (and actually I am contributing to it at the moment...) extremely boring and completely missing the point. I have become a member of this list to discuss video/ filming or other RELEVANT editing issues and NOT anything else. I guess there are millions of lists out there where you can air your opinion. I try to answer as many questions as possible even sometimes playing around with my own timelines just to figure out other peoples problems and in return hope for useful impact if I get stuck. Frankly I have too much work to do to read through posts like the one I am just writing. I hope very much that this list stays completely clear from OT discussions or my favourite list becomes useless for me. Prodig (a discussion list for professional digital artists) is very strict and if you post OT topics you get a warning from the listowner and if it happens (without asking the listmum for permission) again you are taken of the list. Sounds harsh but works! Sorry for this long blurb but I sincerely hope that this list stays free from anything but the relevant topics. Best wishes and good luck for the election in the US!
