We're a small TV station looking to expand our editting capabilities. We're currently running two full out Avid Xpresses, and just purchased Matrox RT.X100 Xtreme Pro system with all the Adobe goodies, Premiere, Audition, and Encore. It appears to be more of consumer based product that we had originally thought.
We have some extra money in our budget and are looking at purchasing another Adobe premier setup. This appears to be the hottest forum out there for Premiere, thus I was looking for some insight into what we should purchase. Our setup: Dell boxes Sony Beta SP's (s-vid, component, composite) What is the best bang for the dollar? What will work best when dealing with broadcast quality? What video card? Are there any other packages out there designed for professional use? Any other hints or suggestions that you have found that make Adobe Premiere sing?
