Hi all,
I hope someone can help me. I'm a former Adobe Premiere user (way back) that hasn't used it in about 6 years. I'm shopping for a video editing app for computer based multimedia and internet development. I really don't ever lay anything to tape or DVD, so almost everything is lower res. I'd go buy the latest version of Premiere, but I'm afraid it won't work on my current computer, and I don't plan on upgrading my system for a while. I've got a Sony Vaio with a Duron 900 MHz processor, 256 mb RAM, and Windows XP Home SP2. So it looks like I have to do one of two things: a. buy an older copy of Premiere (version 6.5?) probably used on eBay or b. buy a copy of Ulead Media Studio Pro (version 6.5 or 7). I've tried Sony's Vegas Video, Avid and Pinnacle. Vegas and Avid didn't work and I don't like Pinnacle's entry level app. Media Studio Pro's demo worked fine on my system. I wasn't able to track down a demo version of Premiere 6.5 to test it, but I'm guessing it'll work. Any advice? Thanks, Paul ------------------------ Yahoo!
